The first video shows a quick video of Eva Simon and Afrojack in the studio. It’s a little bit like an interview, but mostly just shots of Afrojack in the studio and playing live, along with some interview cut-ins. It looks like Eva Simons has the next craziest hair in dance music since La Roux. Sorry America, but the Dutch sound is taking over.
This second video is HOT! This is the latest single from Afrojack. Clearly this man is the future of house music for the next little bit. The vocal is so catchy, I really hope this keeps going strong.

To provide location-based services on Apple products, Apple and our partners and licensees may collect, use, and share precise location data, including the real-time geographic location of your Apple computer or device. This location data is collected anonymously in a form that does not personally identify you and is used by Apple and our partners and licensees to provide and improve location-based products and services. For example, we may share geographic location with application providers when you opt in to their location services.
Whats really concerning is that this can be reverse-engineered to track individuals.”The company says the data is anonymous and does not personally identify users. Analysts have shown, however, that large, specific data sets can be used to identify people based on behavior patterns.”
Anybody else have any concerns like this?

I clearly have been spending time in my new home setup making music rather than blogging. Sorry! Be back soon . . .

[THE AMERICAN]
Bangkok, Oriental setting
And the city don’t know that the city is getting
The creme de la creme of the chess world in a
Show with everything but Yul Brynner
Time flies — doesn’t seem a minute
Since the Tirolean spa had the chess boys in it
All change — don’t you know that when you
Play at this level there’s no ordinary venue
It’s Iceland — or the Philippines — or Hastings — or –
or this place!
[COMPANY]
One night in Bangkok and the world’s your oyster
The bars are temples but the pearls ain’t free
You’ll find a god in every golden cloister
And if you’re lucky then the god’s a she
I can feel an angel sliding up to me
[THE AMERICAN]
One town’s very like another
When your head’s down over your pieces, brother
[COMPANY]
It’s a drag, it’s a bore, it’s really such a pity
To be looking at the board, not looking at the city
[THE AMERICAN]
Whaddya mean? Ya seen one crowded, polluted, stinking town –
[COMPANY]
Tea, girls, warm, sweet
Some are set up in the Somerset Maugham suite
[THE AMERICAN]
Get Thai’d! You’re talking to a tourist
Whose every move’s among the purest
I get my kicks above the waistline, sunshine
[COMPANY]
One night in Bangkok makes a hard man humble
Not much between despair and ecstasy
One night in Bangkok and the tough guys tumble
Can’t be too careful with your company
I can feel the devil walking next to me
[THE AMERICAN]
Siam’s gonna be the witness
To the ultimate test of cerebral fitness
This grips me more than would a
Muddy old river or reclining Buddha
And thank God I’m only watching the game — controlling it –
I don’t see you guys rating
The kind of mate I’m contemplating
I’d let you watch, I would invite you
But the queens we use would not excite you
So you better go back to your bars, your temples, your massage
parlours –
[COMPANY]
One night in Bangkok and the world’s your oyster
The bars are temples but the pearls ain’t free
You’ll find a god in every golden cloister
A little flesh, a little history
I can feel an angel sliding up to me
One night in Bangkok makes a hard man humble
Not much between despair and ecstasy
One night in Bangkok and the tough guys tumble
Can’t be too careful with your company
I can feel the devil walking next to me

I started listening to Lusine when I heard the Two Dots Music Video shortly after hearing a remix on Pete Tong’s show.
I could not find the song anywhere for quite a while (Tong is somewhat legendary for his exclusive tracks) and decided to embark upon a remix of my own. I set it up and even worked on it in San Diego, in the airport, and in different environements to see how that affected the process.
This might be a project I pick up over the next few weeks, but in the mean time I have some great news. I found the remix. It’s standing tall, at over 8 minutes; its great.

I wish that this were up online to listen to, but so far I can only find this YouTube version of The Rabbit.
I have heard great things about the Miike Snow live show, unfortunately I missed it the last time they were near my area. In the mean time I can listen to this new single “The Rabbit.” I remember somebody saying that it was much more interesting to watch them perform their music because of the way they were interacting with their gear. Unfortunately I can’t say much more than this, other than I’m glad that artists and DJ’s are remembering their audience while they are up there wrangling a tonne of complicated gear (or wrangling a tonne of beer!)
The only downside is that its hard for me to play this within my regular rotation of music, since I can’t buy it yet, I guess I’ll have to find a download on zippyshare or rapidshare, or one of those sharing sites.

I was just browsing a Volcanos site and they mention that if you’re near a sea-water volcano you should avoid standing beneath a laze plume. This somehow seems like significant information if you were to ever came across an underwater volcano in a boat.

I use Ableton Live about 50 times a day sometimes. I have been using it since version 5 but I have only recently begun using it to obsessive proportions.
I will soon share this knowledge. I have already posted one tutorial from my efforts a few weeks back when I made this Ableton Live remix tutorial.
I’ve just finished working on my Moguai tutorial, so if I don’t win I’ll be making a tutorial about my process for that as well as a tutorial for a remix im working on right now of a French band called L’usine. I’ve been working on this remix since my trip to San Diego for a Magic convention to brush up my skills as Alexander the Great Magician – Ottawa magician. Pass it on!
