At this extreme range of time stretching, Bieber’s bubblegum pop sounds surprisingly like ambient space music – an improvement, if you ask me.

Here you will find the fruits of my labours. After almost a month in production I have posted and submited my remix of Sander Kleinenberg’s epic track “This is Our Night, but with a sexy addition: it now features the vocals of Victoria Garland aside from a complete overhaul of the instrumentation.

I have been using one synthesizer quite a lot for one song to try and test the creative limitations of the synthesizer as well as improving my production skills. This time the synth I stuck to the ARP-2600 but for the next song I’m going to add my new Mopho, maybe I can make it play a chord!?

Well I recently had to get this track up here to listen to and share. This is the new single from Miike Snow, The Rabbit.

Better late than never at all!
The first one is is my LTWB 2010 remix. This song is originally by Laidback Luke, Sebastian Ingrosso, Axwell and Steve Angello but I felt it needed something more. The was actually sub-ing (pun intended!) in a new bass line and mixing some drums as well as including a chord progression from another remix of the song.

Everybody should get a copy of this album right now! I just downloaded a copy off Beatport.
There are a few familiar tracks on here, Lyve, Nyce and ZYVOX but I discovered a few early favourites. Impereal stands out for me as single-worthy. Really nicely produced, relaxing, echoey and just the right amount of “space” for my taste.
Flex Rex Mansion starts off with a weird glitchy vocal but very soon a smooth baseline and vocal quickly works this track into your heart.
The synth work in this album sounds so incredible, like a very edgy guitar sound even on crappy speakers.

Fantastic track, a really solid bass line, but I’m not sure if its water color or water colour . . . he is Canadian so I guess watercolour makes sense . . . we shall see.
