These three Swedes have been making huge tracks these days. LTWB was such a big track that I wanted to remix the track for my own DJ sets.

I just watched this video which demonstrates how versatile Korg’s new Monotron synthesizer is.
This little synth was recently reviewed in the May 2010 Future Music Magazine (Issue 226) but this video looks at how it can filter other sounds, even guitar! I just recently purchased an analog synthesizer, the DSI Mopho, and one of the main features it sports is an audio in which can modulate and filter external audio signals, or create feedback within the synth.

I just finished making a tutorial video that teaches how to use Ableton Live and its plugins as an instrument within Apple‘s Logic Pro 9. This is acomplished using the ReWire protocol (link to wikipedia description) to stream audio and timing information between the two programs.
Make sure to watch the video fullscreen and also make sure you are playing it in HD if your machine is capable.

While attempting to write up an accurate description of my live performances to various promoters, my booking agency and myself thought it’d be fun to simply make a demonstration video. After converting my rehearsal room into a poor-man’s film studio, I decided that I might as well use some sleek cameras and make a psuedo-music video for a song that hasn’t been recorded yet. I hope you enjoy the results!
