A great song that we’ve heard a thousand times by now, Levels, has been given the Skrillex touch. I love how he made the somewhat generic Avicii tune a dance party / rave vibe while at the same time inserting his signature dub sounds

Let me start off by first warning: This is NOT the real music video for this song/remix.
I have been a big fan of the Skream remix to Cassius’ I Love You So ever since I first heard it a couple months ago. The original is released on the French electronic label Ed Banger (as in “head banger” pronounced by zee French) is very similar in sound yet radically different in style. I’ve been a fan of Justice and Uffie as well but haven’t heard enough other releases to really know for sure if I’m an Ed Banger myself when I listen to their tunes.
Now onto the video, this online re-edit is so perfectly done I can’t believe its not actually for this song. This is actually the video for the song “Luv Delux” by Cinnamon Chasers and was directed in 2009 by Saman Keshavarz.
Someone at Tempa (Skream’s label) should give Keshavarz a call:

As you can see from the troll foot photo I am hard at work. I’ve been working on a remixing of my old Arp song from last summer.
I’m also working on a series of dubstep with a new group and myself. After two house releases we’re going to release a pair of dubstep Violin instrumental tracks. These rich beats are going to become a series of tracks and hopefully eventually a live performance / band.
Exciting stuff coming up!

Hey there everybody, I just listened to a band that I really think you might be interested in.
They’re called Riot 87 and they’re a self-described combination of Drum ‘n’ Bass, Dubstep and Rock music. The group is comprised of Darko Andric (producer, DJ) and Igor Despotovic (guitarist). They both hail from Kragujevac, Serbia but they are rocking sound-waves all across the world with their energetic blend of dance and rock. If rock and hip-hop were the previous decades big thing, dance and rock is going to be the next future-music combination.
Their latest release, SERBIAN BASSLINE EP, is their first major release as a dnb/dubstep group. This EP consists of 6 tracks, 2 interesting remixes/covers for Gorillaz and AC/DC, and 4 rock solid RIOT 87 original tracks and VIP editions of a few older singles released last year on the psytrance EP “Are You Riot!”
If you like this music, feel free to share the EP with everybody you know (it is the best way to help this band!) Share on Facebook, Twitter, Myspace, blogs and forums
